Our store is located in the heart of the Apex, NC historical district.  Apex is located on NC Highway 55, U.S. Highway 1 and U.S. Highway 64.  For MapQuest directions, click HERE.  Williams Street is North Carolina Highway 55.

Look for the half-moon blue awning on the east side of North Salem Street.

Inside you will find a large collection of gift ideas.  We buy artwork from many national and world-wide artisans, specializing in, but not limited to, glass and clay.  We also have an extensive line of scented candles made with soy bean wax.  And, of course, we have many fine pieces of pottery too!  If you are looking for a unique gift, the Out Of The Kiln Gift Shop is your best bet!  Photos of Apex and the Shop follow below.

While you are visiting Apex, please plan to spend some time to visit the other stores in the historical district. You will find many fine gifts, crafts, antiques and first class resturants.  There is also an old-time style ice cream parlor to satisfy your sweet tooth (and that of the kids).

	You have arrived!  This picture is of the store front of the Out Of The Kiln Gift Shop.  The Gift Shop is to the left.  The window to the right is the teaching studio and the area where students or others can rent the wheels, slab builder, and other tools.  Clay, tools, and other pottery products can be purchased through the studio as well.
	As you enter the gift shop, you will see a great variety of gift ideas  --- our own pottery is featured along with two other clay artists.  In addition, we have glass art from a number of artisans in the U.S. and Europe.  We also have soy bean wax candles of many scents, nick-nack items and various products you can use to accessorize and accent your home.
	Halfway into our gift shop, you can make a right turn into the annex.  The annex is filled with glass, pottery, greating cards, ornaments, and, hanging from the roof are hummingbird feeders from U.S. and Chech Republic artisans.
